Week 6

Bilbo was planing to give his Ring to Frodo, but when he tried to put it down, something strange feelinf happened in his mind. He thought "I don't want to give this Precious Ring to Frodo. It's mine...",but Gandalf felt it's strange. He thought that this ring may have some dangerous power, so he told Bilbo strongly to give the ring to Frodo. And at last, Bilbo could put down the ring for Frodo, and then, for some reason, Bilbo felt as if he was released from something dark feeling. And he left his home happily to go adventure.

After the party, Frodo rushed to his home to seek Bilbo. But he had already gone.
Frodo couln't say "good bye" or "thank you".
He knew that Bilbo won't came back forever, although he wished that it was really just a joke of the party.
He was on the step, smiling, but looking rather tired and worried.
He was surprised that Bilbo left him the Ring. But Gangalf said, "You should not use the Ring. Keep it safe and secret."

Finally, the Ring appeared in this book. Nobody know about the secret of the Ring, yet. But it seems that the Ring has a strange and strong power. The title of this story is "the LORD of the rings", and the LORD means "owner" or "holder". It seems that the Ring approach to the person's mind, heart, and make some strange feeling. I think this book's becoming more and more intetresting.

 

Week 5

Hi, everyone. These days, I think it's a little strange weather because sometimes very hot but sometimes a little cold! But I'd rather like winter than summer, so I hope this summer won't be so hot. :)

Last week, Bilbo Baggins vanished in the middle of the birthday party of him and Frodo. And Frodo was left in the party. He had to entertain many customers and he should have fun his birthday, but he couldn't enjoy it in his heart.

In other hands, Bilbo came back to his home but nobody notice it,
because his body was  perfectly invisible.  He used A Ring. When people put on  the ring, the person becomes invisible from everyone. So, Bilbo made people surprised by using this ring and vanish himself, and then, he'd been decided that he leave here, Shire, and go to somewhere far away to do adventure. THIS was the joke he'd been thinking.
As soon as he came home, he tried to go adventure with a backpack, but suddenly, a wizard Gandalf appeared.
Bilbo asked Gandalf " keep your eyes on Frodo", because he will go alone.
Frodo offered to Bilbo to go with him, just before the party, although Frodo didn't know when Bilbo is planing to leave. But Bilbo didn't say "yes", bacause he know that Frodo does not really want to go,yet. Frodo is still in love with Shire(this peaceful place), with beautuful nature. So, Bilbo decided to go alone. He leave almost all things to Frodo, although frodo was not his real grandchild.

Week4 The Lord of the Rings

Hi, everyone. How are you doing? This week, I managed to start reading main story of this book, so it was fun. It was about an event which leads Frodo to his hard destiny, later.

A LONG-EXPECTED PARTY

    The beginning of this story was in Shire, a peace hometown of Hobbits. Bilbo’s 111^th birthday party was held in his large garden. Frodo’s birthday was the same day, so it was Frodo’s party, too. So many people was invited. There were Frodo’s friends, too.

Bilbo was famous as a rich and strage man for Hobbit. The Party was great and fun. Bilbo prepared many presents, dishes, and so on for customers.

At almost the end of the party, Bilbo began to speak his speech. He told them Thanks for coming to this party, and announced that Frodo will succeed his property(Frodo was like Bilbo's adopted son).
 

And then,

something odd happened.

Bilbo said, “…and finally, …this is the END. I am going. I am leaving NOW. GOOD-BYE!”

Then he stepped down from the chair he was standing on, and, vanished! Bilbo was nowhere to be seen.

People couldn’t understand what’s happened, so they were surprised and got angry.

But only Frodo said nothing.

It was because he knew that, THIS was the joke Bilbo had ever said before. So he enjoyed this joke, but at the same time, he felt deeply troubled, because he suddenly realized that he loved the old hobbit, dearly.

 

Did you see the movie of  The Hobbit? If you saw it, do you remember that, the beginning of that movie was before the beginning of this party? That movie’s story was began from this scene, and Bilbo remind his 60-year-ago adventure.

I think that The Ring will appear soon.  

Week 3

   At the beggining of this story, there was some NOTE about the species of Hobits and so on,
like these↑. This is because,  this story, "THE LORD OF THE RINGS" were written after the story of "The Hobbit",which became famous recently by the movie.
        "The Hobbit"is a story of Bilbo baggins, and "THE LORD OF THE RINGS" is about 60 yaers after story. And to tell the truth, the cause of Frodo's adventure is Bilbo's story. So,  there were
short explain about Bilbo's story.

       When Bilbo was in his adventure, he picked up A Ring by accident in a cave. He put it in his pocket for no reason, but actually, Gollum, who living in there, possessed the secret treasure(The Ring) that had come to him long ago. Gollum was really loving the Ring, and he noticed that Billbo got the ring, then, he said,
"He is a thief! I hate Baggins!"
      
      On the other hands, Bilbo was thinking ," I won the Quiz which played with Gollum. This ring is the reward of it, so I can possess this, surely", and he wrote so on his Memoir. And he brought it to his home in Shire, And he was keeping it till his Birthday of  111 years old.

      And, this story is beggining here, the preparation of Bilbo's 111th birthday! Now,at last, I can start reading this book's story(after 38 pages). I think it'll be exciting very much.
